February 2016 Favorites

Hey everyone! February has been a exciting month for makeup, as I’ve discovered some new products that I absolutely LOVE! So if you are interested in finding out what I’ve been using non-stop, just keep reading 🙂

So first off, I just want to say that I hate blush. Like hate it. I hate how it looks on me, how it wears through the day. But I picked up this Wet n Wild coloricon blush in Rose Champagne, and I don’t hate it. I actually really like it. Like a lot. It’s more of a nude pink color with a satin finish and I don’t know guys, it just looks really good on the skin. It gives a youthful, flushed look that is perfect for the warmer weather we’ve been having. IMG_0537

Next up is the SUGAR finish skin perfecting face primer. I like this because it’s not the usual silicon formula. This is actually fairly tacky when applied, but it does a super good job of prolonging the wear of any foundation.

Alright, this is my new holy grail highlighter. It’s the Chella Ivory Lace highlighting crayon, which is perfect for sculpting out the brows and just adding a little brightness to the inner corner of the eye. I use it everyday, whether I’m going for a no makeup look or full face glam. IMG_0535

I wasn’t sure if I liked this product of not when I first got it, but the Wet n Wild megaclear brow gel actually really, really good. It keeps the brow hairs in place all day and has a nice finish. I’ve tried a lot of brow gels that have a wet or shiny finish, but this one dries to a natural matte finish (and it’s only $1.29!!!)IMG_0538

My last favorite is the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later eyeshadow primer. This product is literally everything. I got it in an Ipsy bag a while back and as soon as I tried it I went out and bought a backup! It’s basically sheer, colorless, with maybe the tiniest hint of a sheen (but definitely no glitter) and it hold your eyeshadow on ALL DAY. Like literally 24 hours. I may have accidentally slept with my makeup on one night… but when I woke up in the morning my eyeshadow looked flawless, as if I had just applied it. No joke. Seriously.

Okay guys, that’s it for my February favorites! If you have any questions, as always, feel free to drop a comment! Thanks so much for reading and I’ll talk to you all soon!
