Kylie Lip Kit Review & Swatches

Sooooo I know everyone is probably sick of seeing these posts everywhere, but I thought that I’d offer my humble opinion anyway. Without further ado, lets get into the review!

Before I even put these on my lips, I was in love. The packaging guys. It gets me. It’s classy and simple, but edgy at the same time.

The first thing I noticed when I opened these babies up was the smell. It’s so good. Imagine a vanilla cupcake with buttercream frosting; that’s what these smell like. I want to eat them…

…anyways… here is a swatch of the shade Dolce K. It’s a beautiful dusty brown mauve shade, and the liner matches it perfectly. The formula is one of the best I have ever tried; it’s not the tiniest bit sticky, dries super fast, and is kiss proof! It is definitely a true liquid lipstick, not like some that are more of a mousse texture. It’s actually not very drying and I barely feel it on my lips. As you can see, Dolce is highly pigmented as well. The liner is really great, quite creamy and easy to apply. IMG_0573

The second shade I got was Candy K: a beautiful pinky-mauve color. This one is just as good as Dolce, and it’s a bit more wearable (for me anyways) because it’s not as dark.

All-in-all, I really do think these lipsticks are great. They are kinda pricey ($29 I believe), but the quality is there and I think they’re worth it. They last literally forever on my lips, don’t smudge at all, and fade evenly without any flakiness or crumbling.

PS: KYLIE ANNOUNCED THAT HER PRODUCTS ARE CRUELTY FREE!! BONUS!
